Our toiletry bag made of hemp and cornstarch is suitable for home composting, provided it has not come into contact with strong chemicals or oils. Under ideal conditions, complete decomposition can take 3 to 6 months. In a commercial composting facility, this period is reduced to about 8 weeks. Please note that with regular use, the lifespan is at least two years – so the product is not a disposable item.

The recycled canvas is treated with an eco-friendly impregnation that withstands heavy rain. However, moisture can penetrate during prolonged submersion or under strong pressure. For sensitive items like electronics, we recommend additional waterproof dry bags. The seams are not sealed, so the system is classified as water-repellent, not waterproof.

The wraps are heat-resistant up to about 40 °C. Hot food straight from the stove should be allowed to cool before wrapping. The wraps are excellent for bread, fruit, cheese, and snacks at room temperature. They are also suitable for the freezer, but the wax becomes more brittle in cold conditions – please fold carefully.

Yes, all shipping packaging is made from recycled cardboard and is fully recyclable. The products themselves are delivered in uncoated paper bags that can be disposed of in the waste paper. We completely avoid plastic film or straps. If you still receive packaging material that is not recyclable, please inform us – we will then investigate the incident.
